Activities may include: giving out, collecting, and organizing student library passes; general supervision; covering new books; repairing well-read books (you will receive quick training during your shift).

GUEST SPEAKER PO-SHEN LOH: Parenting after AI aces every standard 

3/10 (Tues), 6:30pm–8:00pm BIS Auditorium 

Come hear Professor Po-Shen Loh discuss parenting, artificial intelligence, and his philosophy that emphasizes curiosity and thoughtfulness. He draws from experience as the former national coach of the USA Math Olympiad team, as a Carnegie Mellon professor, and as a social entrepreneur who hires directly from the current job market. He is also a parent himself, facing this uncertain world with three kids. Our brief March PTA General Meeting (start time TBD) will precede this event. 

PI PARTY — Family Math Night 
3/12 (Thurs), 5:00pm–7:00pm, MPR  

BIS families are invited to come to Pi Party Family Math Night to play math games brought to you by CueMath.com.  Enjoy four interactive stations for hands-on learning as well as free pizza, pie, and homework passes.  ​Click here to RSVP!
