Trojan Fundraiser (normally Sept-Oct of every year)

Every year, BIS PTA will kick off it's annual fundraiser with our parent community typically around Back to School Night (Sept) and running to October. This fundraiser is the majority of the funds the PTA will use to operate programs, staff appreciation, dances, field trips, activities, 8th grade promotion, and more throughout the school year. 

Trojan Fundraiser (different theme every year) will engage the community and students in activities raising money towards our goal. We mark the end of our fundraiser with a Trojan Tournament on-campus with all our students to celebrate.

Money Donation

We offer several convenient ways to make a donation!

• Online: You can easily make a donation at bistrojans.com/donation
• Cash or Check: Please feel free to leave cash or check donations with one of the administrative assistants at the BIS Front Office. For check, please make them payable to "Burlingame Intermediate School PTA."

To ensure proper processing for Check and Cash donations, kindly include the following information:

• Full Name, Student Name / Grade / Advisory, Address, Email

A donation receipt will be emailed by our financial secretary. For any inquiries regarding receipts, please email finance@bistrojans.com.

Business/Family Partnerships

We love our community! Much of our local businesses have students at our BSD schools! Businesses can partner with us in two ways:

• Sponsored Nights: Restaurants and businesses donate a portion of their profits from sponsored events. Our events@bistrojans.com team organizes these in partnership with our community.
• In-kind Donations: Businesses and families can sponsor our events by donating food, services, gift certificates or raffle prizes. We acknowledge businesses publicly to encourage further support through our community newsletter (with an active audience of over 2000+ local parents), our social media channels, and on campus promotion. Volunteer Hours Match

Does your company or organization offer Volunteer Hours Match? Not sure? Please ask or encourage your organization to create the initiative. Similar to Corporate Matching, some companies will offer additional time off to you for volunteering at BIS or donate money for those hours to BIS directly.

Do you shop at:

If so, sign up, link your credit cards, and select Burlingame Intermediate School as your charity organization. These merchants will donate up to 4% of all your purchases back to the school. You do not need to do any additional work other than register and link your cards. Merchants will automatically donate when you use your card for purchases.
